I could not take a screen shot when they were doing the "LIVE INTERVIEW" with one of the terrorists when he was holed up at the TAJ during the siege.
They should be banned and jailed for that piece - it does not matter whether it was true or false. They cannot air such stuff!

Hahaha... wonderful stuff. It is an inane channel. Argh, even the word inane is too little for it.
And the hindi channels are the most watched channels in rural India. Think what impression they must have: The earth has aliens, and all the gods, goddesses are going to come back! Why vote? I'll vote for Krishna when he comes.
I firmly believe that channels such as India TV should never be banned. In fact, those calling Rajat Sharma India's premier egghead must be brought to trial for insulting the most intelligent, most innovative news channel ever. Before India TV came in to the picture, how was news defined? The same old presidents and prime ministers, hurricanes and cyclones, international treaties and summits, sports and entertainment. It WAS pretty boring, you gotta admit. And what would we have had when the world slid into recession? More depressing stuff. More of the same. But with India TV around, I think I can get around my grief about the recession. I may lose my job tomorrow, but wouldn't India TV be around to tell me about aliens abducting cows, Ravana's undersea palace in Sri Lanka, or the road to hell? India TV can help me overcome my depression. What greater public service can you ask for these days. Those calling for its ban need to check for signs of insanity. Don't be losers, guys. Get a grip on life. Subscribe to India TV.

इंडिया टीवी शुरुआत में एक देखने लायक चैनल था. रजत शर्मा से उम्मीदें भी बहुत थी. कुछ साल पहले उन्होंने रात १२ बजे से एक अच्छा कार्यक्रम भी देना शुरू किया था जिसमे रोजमर्रा की समस्याएं होती थी. इसमे एक्सपर्ट्स भी बुलाये जाते थे जो उचित सलाह देते थे. ये एक लाइव फ़ोन-इन प्रोग्राम होता था. हम अक्सर जागकर इस इंतजार में रहते थे की आज कौन सी समस्या ली जायेगी. लेकिन पिछले कुछ समय से तो netsurfing करते समय एक सेकंड के लिए भी इंडिया टीवी चैनल बर्दाश्त नहीं. मुझे आश्चर्य है की जब हम आम आदमी इन तथाकथित मनघडंत बातों पर अपना सर पीटने को मजबूर होता है तो उन बेचारे पत्रकारों का क्या हाल होता होगा!

kudos to the india TV presenters for keeping their calm and not laughing their ass off while they read that stuff. Its easy for the people in BBC, CNN, NDTV etc, but the guys @ india TV are real studs.

Guys, Am not a fan of India TV at all... but we must admit that it certainly takes you tension away and force you to laugh on such silly stories...
Also one interesting point: In a friends gathering if ask anybody if they watch India TV... they'll immediately say no... What i personally believe is that admitting of watching India TV is like masturbation where 60% do and admit and 40% lie.
Everybody watches India TV as it has become a stress buster and a laughter channel...
So keep watching and Keep Laughing...
And if you want to watch serious News channel... Switch to NDTV, CNN-IBN and NewsX...
